Autumn Chai Tea Recipe

Anti-inflammatory & Detoxifying

Ingredients

2 Quarts water

15 Whole Cloves

20 Black Peppercorns

3 Sticks of Cinnamon

20 Whole Cardamom Pods (green) – split pods

8 Fresh Ginger Slices (1/4 thick no need to peel)

Preparation

Bring 2 quarts water to boil.

Add cloves and boil 1 min.

Add cardamom, peppercorns, cinnamon, and ginger.

Cover and boil for 30 minutes.

Reduce heat & simmer for 2 to 3 hours.

Remove from heat, strain and store in the refrigerator

Add the following ingredients to each cup as desired

  • Black or green tea bag
  • Honey, maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
  • Milk –Almond, Coconut, Soy or Dairy
